Yoda arrived in Perth in late November. As summer was just around the corner in the southern hemisphere and getting a lot warmer, the first stop Yoda made was a trip to the port city of Fremantle to look at the boats and try the world famous fish 'n' chips at Ciccerello's. We even took him on a tour down the coast line from Cottesloe on the way to Freo. Yoda took in the sights of Perth from the beautiful Kings Park, and while he was there he paid his respects to the WWI diggers at the war memorial an the Flame of Rememberance. The most exciting part of Yoda's trip to Perth, was the chance to go to the Intenational Twenty20 cricket match between Australia and NZ at the WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association) Ground. Before the match, Yoda got to meet the vice-captain of Australia, Adam Gilchrist and have a little chat about cricket. Gilly (as Adam is affectionately known to the Aussie fans), has just annmounced his retirement from cricket, but you can find out more about him here: http://content-www.cricinfo.com/australia/content/player/5390.html Yoda
spent Christmas in Perth before boading Australia Post for Adelaide.
